Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal PTIPD: Penelitian Terapan Informatika dan Pengembangan Data is committed to maintaining academic integrity and the originality of scholarly works. Therefore, every manuscript submitted to the editorial office must undergo a plagiarism screening process before proceeding to the peer review stage.

Plagiarism screening is conducted using specialized software, such as Turnitin or similar tools, to detect similarities with other scholarly works that have been previously published. The maximum allowable similarity index is 25%, provided that there are no indications of direct plagiarism (copy-pasting) in the core sections of the article, particularly the methodology, results, and discussion.

If plagiarism is found to exceed the allowable threshold or there is evidence of intentional plagiarism, the following actions will be taken:

• The manuscript will be rejected immediately without proceeding to further review.

• The author will be informed of the plagiarism screening results and provided with supporting evidence.

• In certain cases, the author may be asked to revise the manuscript or provide clarification before the manuscript is processed further.

This policy is implemented to maintain the quality of scholarly publications and ensure that every article published by PTIPD (Digital Journal of Applied Informatics Research and Data Development) is an original work that contributes to the advancement of knowledge, particularly in the fields of information technology and communication.
