Waste management remains a significant challenge in Indonesia, with contributions from sectors such as education, industry, tourism, and households. Most landfills in Indonesia employ open dumping methods, leading to environmental issues like methane emissions, unpleasant odors, and leachate contamination. Organic waste management, particularly through composting, offers a solution to reduce landfill waste. This study integrates composting into biology education to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile under the theme of sustainable living in the Merdeka Curriculum. The research aims to describe the implementation of compost-making practicals in biology classes as a method to reinforce the Pancasila Student Profile. The study involved 18 students from class X1 and 20 students from class X2 at SMA Al-Islam Boarding School Cirebon. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and document analysis. Results indicate that the compost-making practicals were successfully conducted and received enthusiastic responses from students. Through this activity, students developed Pancasila-character dimensions such as faith, devotion to God, collaboration, independence, global awareness, critical thinking, and creativity. Additionally, the activity enhanced students' environmental awareness and responsibility.
