Abstract

Mangrove ecosystems have various benefits, one of which is in educational aspect by integrating them into learning resources for students. The lack of learning media that is interesting, contextual, and relevant to everyday life results in students who tend to get bored and have difficulty understanding the material during the learning process. The use of LKPD Exploration of Mangrove Ecosystems in the Sunge Jingkem Ecotourism Area can be alternative learning media in the form of LKPD Exploration of Mangrove Ecosystems in the Sunge Jingkem Ecotourism Area as learning media through validation tests and product readability tests. This research was conducted using the R&D (Research and Development) method using the 4D model modified into 3D. The results of the LKPD validation test obtained a score of 78,67% from material experts, 90% from media experts, and 98,70% from biology teacher, with an average of 89,12% including very valid criteria. The readability test by 15 students of class X-F obtained an average score 4,49 with very good criteria. So it can be concluded, LKPD Exploration of Mangrove Ecosystems in the Sunge Jingkem Ecotourism Area is suitable for use as learning media on ecosystem material.
