Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the essential skills in the 21st century. However, in reality students' critical thinking skills are still relatively low. This research aims to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills through the RICOSRE-FC model on ecological material. The research method used is pre-experimental with a one group pretest -posttest design. The subjects of this research were students in class The research results showed that the pretest value was 39, while the posttest value was 82. Based on the results of data analysis, the average N-Gain value was 0.71 in the high category. Further development of learning using the RICOSRE-FC model needs to be carried out for various subjects, so that students can improve critical thinking skills not only in ecological material but also in other materials.
