Socio Scientific Reasoning (SSR) is construction of thinking to integrate conceptual understanding, argumentation, decision making and appropriate solutions to Socio Scientific Issues (SSI). The purpose of this study is identify the SSR of students in solving SSI on environmental change material at one of the Bandung City High Schools. This research method is descriptive quantitative, survey design, non-probability sampling, sample with a 38 students in class X-I. Data Instrument is Quantitative Assessment of Socio Scientific Reasoning (QuASSR) consists of two scenarios SSI topics in local and global issues, form of the problem consists two-level description, first level choosing answer ('yes” or ‘no’), second level describes the reasons for the first level in detail, which is divided into four dimensions of SSR: complexity, perspective taking, inquiry, and skepticism. Data analyzed by calculating the percentage of students at each level of QuASSR in the SSR dimension and calculating the average acquisition of students' scores. The results showed average acquisition of students' scores was 14.34 very poor criteria. Based on the level of each SSR dimensions, students at level 0 - level 2, which means students still at the stage of describing illogical responses or only identifying one reason with explanation.
